Passengers
Our water taxi can carry up to 17 passengers, our picnic boat can accommodate up to 10 people, and our hire tinny‘s accommodate a maximum of 4 people.
(Please note between the 28th of April - mid June
the max capacity of the water taxi will be 12 people)
All passengers, including children, require a seat when travelling on our water taxis or picnic boat, and hire tinny’s must not exceed 4 people of any age at any time.
By booking a water taxi ride, picnic boat, or a taxi and tinny package with us, you agree to Hawkesbury Water Taxi’s terms and conditions.
Rental boat information
Our taxi and tinny packages, along with our picnic boat option, are designed to give you the freedom to enjoy the river at your own pace.
Hire tinny‘s can be operated by a responsible person, and no boat licence is required.
All hire tinny’s are strictly for daytime use only and come equipped with 8hp outboard motors and life jackets. For safety reasons, no more than 4 people are permitted in a hire tinny at any time.
Our picnic boat offers a larger, more relaxed experience on the water and can accommodate up to 10 people. It is ideal for small groups looking to enjoy the river together in comfort. All passengers must be seated safely at all times while on board.
By booking a taxi and tinny package or picnic boat, please note these hire boats are only available as package deals with airbnb’s and you agree to operate the vessel responsibly and in accordance with our terms and conditions.
Luggage
Our water taxis can comfortably accommodate standard luggage for a weekend away.
If you are travelling with extra or oversized items, additional fees may apply, so we recommend getting in touch with us in advance to discuss your requirements.
Weather
In the event of severe weather, your driver will contact you directly.
Safety is always our top priority for both our passengers and crew, and trips may need to be delayed or rescheduled if conditions are unsafe.
